99 Sounds – World Sounds

World Sounds is a collection of royalty-free field recordings and sound effects recorded by Marcel Gnauk of Free To Use Sounds. The World Sounds audio library is available for free download exclusively via 99Sounds.

THE LIBRARY

With close to 4 GB of premium-quality field recordings, the World Sounds library is one of the largest releases on 99Sounds to date. It contains an exclusive collection of natural ambiances, city sounds, nature sound effects, foley effects, and field recordings. The included sounds are provided by Marcel Gnauk of Free To Use Sounds.

World Sounds is the free sound library to download if you need high-quality recordings of natural and urban environments for your next video or audio project. It includes a selection of aircraft sounds, ocean waves, rain sounds (find more in our Rain And Thunder library), traffic noises, trains, church bells, underwater sounds, crowds, and more.

Marcel even included a selection of electromagnetic noises and a great collection of room tone recordings that can be super useful for sound design work on your next movie or another type of video project.

TECHNICAL DETAILS

World Sounds download contains 76 royalty-free field recordings in 48 kHz/24-bit stereo WAV format. The recordings are sorted into folders by category and you will also find a detailed list of metadata in CSV format. You will need 3.83 GB of free hard drive space to store the library and the download size is 3.32 GB (ZIP archive).
